Fluted Wall Panel

Calm, vertical rhythm.

CE markedReaction-to-fire classifiedAcoustic-friendlyIndoor grade

The TSS Fluted Wall Panel is a slatted WPC (wood-plastic composite) lining panel engineered to bring warmth and a calm, vertical rhythm to interior walls and ceilings. Each panel combines a fluted slat face with a continuous backing board, so individual battens read as a clean run of timber-toned ribs while concealed tongue-and-groove edges hide every joint. The result is a refined acoustic-friendly surface that installs quickly over battens or a flat substrate.

01Overview

The TSS Fluted Wall Panel is a slatted WPC (wood-plastic composite) lining panel engineered to bring warmth and a calm, vertical rhythm to interior walls and ceilings. Each panel combines a fluted slat face with a continuous backing board, so individual battens read as a clean run of timber-toned ribs while concealed tongue-and-groove edges hide every joint. The result is a refined acoustic-friendly surface that installs quickly over battens or a flat substrate.

Manufactured from a stabilised wood-fibre and polymer matrix, the panels resist the cracking, warping and moisture movement associated with solid timber, while retaining a natural wood feel underfoot for the eye and hand. Warm wood tones and a charcoal option suit reception areas, feature walls, partitions and suspended-ceiling details across hospitality, commercial and residential interiors.

Supplied across Europe, North America and beyond, the range is produced to recognised European and international standards for reaction-to-fire, wood-based panel performance and acoustic absorption, and is despatched with full technical and test documentation for specification and approval.

03Applications

Feature walls

Creates a warm, vertically ribbed focal surface in lobbies, lounges and living spaces.

Ceilings

Lines flat and suspended ceilings to carry the slat rhythm overhead and soften reflected sound.

Partitions

Faces freestanding and dividing partitions to zone open-plan interiors with a tactile, timber-toned finish.

Reception areas

Delivers a calm, premium backdrop for reception desks and waiting areas in commercial and hospitality settings.

Corridors and circulation

Adds directional rhythm and a durable, wipe-clean surface to high-traffic interior routes.

Retail and showroom fit-out

Provides a refined display backdrop that frames merchandise without competing for attention.

04Features & benefits

Warm wood tones

Natural timber-look finishes and a charcoal option bring warmth and depth to any interior scheme.

Softer acoustics

The slatted profile with a backing cavity helps absorb mid-range sound and calm room reverberation.

Concealed joints

Tongue-and-groove edges interlock panel to panel for a continuous run with no visible fixings.

Dimensionally stable

The WPC matrix resists the warping, splitting and moisture movement common to solid timber indoors.

Fast to install

Lightweight panels in long lengths cover area quickly over battens or a flat substrate.

Low-maintenance surface

A sealed composite face wipes clean and holds its colour through everyday interior use.

05Standards & compliance
  • EN 13501-1

Reaction-to-fire classification of construction products; the panels are tested and classified (typically Class B-s2,d0) for use in interior linings.

  • EN 15534

Composites made from cellulose-based materials and thermoplastics (WPC) — defines material characterisation and test methods for profiles used in cladding and decking applications.

  • EN 13986

Wood-based panels for use in construction — characteristics, evaluation of conformity and marking relevant to panel products in internal applications.

  • EN ISO 11654

Acoustics — sound absorbers for use in buildings; rating of sound absorption underpinning the weighted absorption coefficient (αw) of the slatted face with a cavity.

  • ISO 9001

Quality management system governing manufacture, inspection and traceability of supplied product.

06Installation & handling
  • Acclimatise panels flat in the installation space for 24–48 hours before fixing to stabilise to room temperature and humidity.
  • Fix to a level, dry substrate or to battens at typical 300–400 mm centres; pack out as needed to keep the face true.
  • Engage the tongue-and-groove edge fully and conceal fixings within the groove, or bond with a recommended construction adhesive.
  • Leave a small expansion gap at perimeters and abutments to accommodate normal thermal movement, then close with matching trims or end caps.
  • Cut with a fine-tooth blade for clean rib edges and support the panel close to the cut line.
  • Designed for interior use only; do not install in continuously wet areas or in unprotected external exposure.

08Quality & supply

Stocked finishes are typically available for prompt despatch, while made-to-order tones, lengths and project volumes are produced on a planned lead time confirmed at enquiry; physical samples and finish swatches are provided ahead of commitment so colour and profile can be approved on site. Every consignment ships with full documentation — Technical Data Sheet, reaction-to-fire and acoustic test reports, declaration of performance for CE marking and a product warranty — and the range is supplied across Europe, North America and beyond with complete export paperwork to support specification, customs clearance and project sign-off.

09Frequently asked

Fluted Wall Panel
questions.

They are tested to EN 13501-1 and typically achieve Class B-s2,d0, suitable for many interior lining applications. We confirm the classified value and supply the test report for your specific project and finish.

No. The Fluted Wall Panel is an interior product for walls and ceilings. For external façades or fully wet zones we can advise on our exterior-rated WPC cladding instead.

The slatted face over a backing cavity offers useful mid-range absorption, with a typical weighted coefficient (αw) of around 0.20–0.45 depending on the cavity depth and any acoustic backing used. Rated to EN ISO 11654.

They interlock with a concealed tongue-and-groove edge, so fixings sit within the groove and panel-to-panel joints read as a continuous run. They can be screwed to battens or bonded to a flat substrate.

Panels are supplied up to 2900 mm long with a typical 150 mm coverage face, in warm wood tones and a charcoal option. Made-to-order tones and lengths are available for project quantities.

Yes. We provide physical samples and finish swatches so you can approve colour, rib profile and texture before committing to a project order.

Yes. We supply across Europe, North America and beyond, with full export paperwork plus the Technical Data Sheet, test reports, declaration of performance and warranty for every order.
